When then had our annual trip to Twin Lakes. It was a bit of a rough start with some bat feces issues in our cabin but the trip turned out great and Aaron even got to join us later in the week. From Twin Lakes we headed to Lake Coeur d'Alene to spend time with Aaron's family. We had a great time there too and I got a few pictures.
Brady spent most of his time fishing off the dock or riding in the inner tube. We took a little trip in to town and the kids got to play at the park and then we got ice cream. Ryker and his cousin Brooklyn spent most of the time either playing or arguing but they seemed to enjoy each others company a lot. Jillian and Carson pretty much ate, slept, pooped, and smiled. Jillian did master the art of rolling over during our trip.
When then left the lake cabin and came to Ephrata to sign paperwork for the new house. We closed on the new house on the 17th of August and then the next day the solid contract we thought we had on our house in Pasco fell through. The buyers bank decided to not give them a loam due to the fact that they had two late mortgage payments on their previous home. Why this wasn't caught in the pre-approval process is still a mystery, but Aaron and I were pretty upset about it. We now have two mortgages and hope to sell the house in Pasco sooner than later. The only other thing I have to say about this minor setback is that I hate Wells Fargo and have been seriously thinking about writing them a very nasty letter. Like it would do any good, but it would make me feel a little better. Anyhow, we're in our new house now and pretty much settled. We still have a lot of boxes left in the garage but hope to tackle them soon. Aaron's been busy putting up a fence and installing sod so our wandering dog doesn't decide to leave us. I will post pics of the new house as soon as it's clean enough and Jillian lets me put her down for longer than two minutes.
